This beautiful girl has bounced back from a rough start. She was purchased as a puppy by a young couple who thought it would be fun to have a dog. When the puppy behaved like–well, a puppy–they first crated her for eight hours at a time, then gave her to a “friend.” The alleged friend chained her in a junk-filled back yard until Animal Control seized her and another dog chained up with her. She stayed in the shelter for months, so shy that she was passed over time and time again. Since her rescue she has begun to develop into the beautiful, loving, playful dog she was meant to be. Because she has a strong prey drive (watch her go after that ball!), we recommend that she lives in a home without cats.
